Thunder are approaching middle age cheerily enough-one of the three new songs on this
six-track EP is titled Mid-Life Crisis - and why shouldn't they? Their blues rock is mostly uplifting, and as а live draw they fill hails that more talked-about bands cannot.The six-track Six Of One is something of а stop-gap until they record а follow-up to last year's Robert Johnson's Tombstone album, and it's а mark of Thunder's confidence that they can offer up а tune as good as Yesterday's News as an interim measure.
There are three live tracks too, the pick of which is а version of А Million Faces that might well have required those in attendance to get out both а lighter and а hankie.
